The Hotel Regina Spa Art Decó forms a part of the urban complex of Vallfogona de Riucorb's Resort. Located in a magnificent stone building, constructed in 1929 and completely restored in 2003, it is one of few buildings of Catalonia with an interior decoration to the pure style Art Decó of the twenties.
The elegance of the bourgeoisie Catalan, with your etiquette dress and your classic cars, impregnated the whole hotel for his first years of activity. Thanks to the industrial and commercial expansion of Catalonia after the first European war, it was established at that time of notable brilliance.
The great party of dance, the gameroom, the concerts, the walk, the hunt, the reading and the poetry, activities reflected in a Josep Bellmunt paintins -that decorate the great dining room-, have left an indelible influence in the place. The elegant and respectful restoration has been prizewinner by the Consell Comarcal of the Conca de Barberà.
